If Jesus is big enough to throw off life’s greatest enemy, then Jesus can help you overcome any obstacle.  Only Jesus can destroy any fear that’s holding you back. Only Jesus can defeat any sin that’s enslaving you.  And Only Jesus can remove any hindrance that’s keeping you from bearing fruit for Him.   So the next time you face an obstacle that seems impossible, bring it to Jesus, and wait. Let him work.  He rose from the dead.  He can raise you too.

If Jesus breaks the power of death…the good news is this: you no longer have to fear death; for once you belong to Jesus, once you’ve trusted in Him as Your Savior, death has been defeated.  You will never taste death.  For now death is just a pathway into the presence of Jesus.  This is the certain hope of every Christian.

When you believe that God’s grace can cover any sin, then you can be truly free.  For there is no sin you have committed that is more powerful than God’s grace.  Here’s the reality: If there is no sin a person commits before salvation too great for Jesus’ death to cover, then there is no sin you commit after salvation that is too great for God to cover.  And Jesus made this possible.  Jesus made you right with God and keeps you right with God by grace – so you can find grace whenever you need it!

People are always his first priority. You are his first priority. He knows you.  He knows your name. He knows your personality. He made you the way you are. Not only that, He knows your weaknesses and your flaws. He knows your fears and your needs.  He knows everything about you. He holds you close to His heart.  This is what makes Jesus the good leader.

God the Father, the creator of the universe, welcomes and accepts, restores and rejoices over anyone who repents and comes home to Him. This is what Jesus wants us to hear. This is the good news: God loves lost causes. And if God loves lost causes, if God loves arrogant rebels who have turned their backs on Him, the good news is there no one is too far gone for God to redeem and restore by His grace!

When we take His yoke upon us, Jesus enables us to do things we could never do on our own. When we are yoked with Jesus, He helps us obey God. When we are yoked with Jesus, He gives us His patience to love those who are difficult to love.. When we are yoked with Jesus, He gives us His power to endure temptation. When we are yoked with Jesus, He gives us His faith to keep going when we can’t see where we are going. This is Jesus the servant leader, who wants to help us live and love like Him. We can’t do this on our own. But when we are yoked with Him, He can help us live in ways we never dreamed possible.

Is your heart OPEN to hearing from God? Or is your heart CLOSED?   That’s the difference between skepticism and faith. A skeptic doesn’t want to hear from God, because a skeptic wants to hold on to his or her preconceived ideas about God. A skeptic walks on dangerous ground, because his or her skepticism reveals a suspicious or stubborn attitude that refuses to believe even if the truth is starring them in the face.  We all know people like this.  Perhaps you are a person like this.
