Our going is about loving people with the love of Jesus. Showing them there is alternative way of life that’s filled with kindness, grace, truth and love. Becoming friends with people far from God so that one day we might introduce them to God. Our going may take months or even years. But the timetable is not up to us. We are just simply called to live as a sent one, and trust God to do the rest.

A skeptic doesn’t want to hear from God, because a skeptic wants to hold on to his or her preconceived ideas about God. A skeptic walks on dangerous ground, because his or her skepticism reveals a suspicious or stubborn attitude that refuses to believe even if the truth is starring them in the face. We all know people like this. Perhaps you are a person like this.
