Jesus came to us as a servant: “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve” Mark 10:45 The Bible tells us that those who have been set free by faith in Jesus have been set free to humbly serve others in love.
Each of also has gifts given by the Spirit of God for the common good: “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10
Therefore, one of the first steps we encourage you to take is to plug in and serve others:
Serving others in love:
as a part of a neighborhood group
as a host of a neighborhood group
as a part of a journey group
as a greeter on our welcome team
as an usher on our welcome team
as a helper at the connect table
as a helper on our hospitality team
as a partner on our prayer team
as a connector on our follow-up team
Serving others with your gifts/talents:
playing a musical instrument with one of our worship bands
singing backup or lead vocals on one of our worship teams
running the sound board for one of our worship teams
running multi-media twice a month for the entire worship service
setting-up whatever is needed for worship or communion twice a month
