The Spirit is God’s PLEDGE to us that there will be a day when we will experience fully all God has given us in Jesus. That day is the DAY OF REDEMPTION. There will be a day when everything of Jesus’ will be ours. We will lack nothing. This is our security in Christ. His Spirit in us seals the deal for eternity.

What does it mean to live in this freedom? You no longer have to live in guilt. Your heart is clean. Christ has taken away every sin, every stain, every hurtful and shameful thing you have ever done. Your forgiveness has set you free from guilt and shame. You no longer have to be defined by your past. Your sin no longer defines you. Your past is a thing of the past.
