Faith, Hope and Love

But now abide faith, hope, love these three…

1.     Faith   

What is it? Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 1:1 

How do you get it? So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Romans 10:17

Why is it important? And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

2.     Hope

Where does it come from?  Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirt. Romans 15:13

Why is it important? Is not your reverence of God your confidence, and the integrity of your ways your hope? Job 4:6

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who hope for His loving kindness. Psalm 33:18

Let Thy lovingkindness O Lord be upon us. According as we have hoped in Thee. Psalm 33:22                                                                                                            

Why are you in despair O my soul? And Why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence.  Psalm 42:5
