What Kind of God is That?

1. God causes all things to work together for good                                                             What are ‘all things’? Romans 8:35-37

2. To those who love God                                                                                                       This love is agapao – to esteem, indicating a direction of the will and finding one’s joy in something or someone – God.                                                                                                Love to God is not naturally in humanity, it is wrought in the soul in regeneration. Ephesians 2:4-5

3. To those who are called according to His purpose                                                    Being called according to God’s purpose also reminds us what “our good” actually is. It’s not our comfort or worldly success.

It’s the furthering of God’s purpose through us.
