This is what Rock Springs Reboot has been all about. It’s been about seeing ourselves as God’s beloved instruments of grace to a world lost in darkness. It’s been about knowing God’s plan to use the redeemed of Jesus to bring His blessing to our world today. By taking our place in His story, helping all people come to trust and follow Jesus, all the while walking closely with Him, sharing His yoke and learning His heart, so together we might share His heart with others, through the love Jesus has given us.

Jesus was very intentional about living among those who needed the gospel. He went to their parties, ate meals in their homes, and served them in the midst of everyday life. Jesus valued every single person he encountered and so must we. Jesus intentionally made disciples.

You want to make disciples like Jesus? Maybe all you need to do is make room in your life for just one person who is lost. Open your home, open your heart, open your life. That’s how Jesus made disciples. He made room in his life for a sinner, and that sinner found salvation.

If we see ourselves as works in process, GRACE will always characterize our relationships. You, see the one thing the world doesn’t see enough from us is grace. Sure, they expect us to judge them, they expect us to moralize them – but if this identity begins to shape how you live, you will never judge nor moralize anyone, because when you are following Jesus, when you keep your focus on Jesus… you will know that you are far… far… far from perfect.

What Jesus was saying to them is that they keep the gospel of Jesus central to their lives, to put into practice everything they learned from Jesus, and then they were not to keep this to themselves, but share everything of the what they’ve learned from Jesus and about Jesus with others.
